+Bishop John S. Dixon
Bishop John S. Dixon is a native of Pensacola, Florida. He is the son of the late Mr. Edward Dixon and Mrs. Carol H. Dixon, who still resides in Pensacola, Florida.
Bishop Dixon was called by God to preach the gospel and licensed by the late Reverend R. W. Ford, Pastor of Greater Little Rock Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida on 05 May 1983. Because his gift made room for him, he was recognized and ordained on 11 July 1993 by the late Reverend (Dr.) Earl Holmes, Pilgrim Baptist Church, in Manhattan, Kansas. He grew and radiated confidence under the decisive leadership of Pastor William L. Robinson, while serving as an associate minister from 1993 -1998 at First Baptist Church, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Bishop Dixon accepted the call to serve as pastor of Saint Paul’s Full Gospel Baptist Church, Geneva, New York on 04 September 2005. God confirmed his ministry with signs and wonders, as believers were baptized in the Holy Ghost, speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Bishop Dixon has been married for twenty-five years to his high school sweetheart Gwendolyn, the daughter of Franklin and Mary English of Pensacola, Florida. They have two beautiful daughters, Erika Chantelle, and Sabrina Antoinette Dixon.
Bishop Dixon has served in the United States Army for twenty –five years and retired from active duty on July 31, 2008. He served in various positions culminating as Rochester Recruiting Company First Sergeant responsible for supervising soldiers from Buffalo to Syracuse, New York, covering a geographical area over 5,824 square miles, in 10 different counties.
Bishop Dixon has proclaimed the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the past 27 years. His ministry has reached thousands from Pensacola, Florida, to the Shores of Mogadishu, South Africa, where he founded and established Mogadishu Baptist Church. He is an active member of the Geneva Area Branch NAACP, and was the keynote speaker for the state of Florida Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Service.
His belief that you will never possess what you are unwilling to pursue, propelled him to attend several higher learning institutions. He has attended Pensacola Junior College, Enterprise State College, City of Chicago Harold Washington College, University of Maryland, Central Texas College, and Kansas State University. He has obtained an Associates of Science Degree in Personnel Management, a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science Degree in Business Administration from Summit University of New Orleans, Louisiana. Bishop Dixon plans to continue his education and pursue a Doctorate in ministry from Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School of Rochester, New York.
Because of his Born Again Experience in December 1982, he teaches believers everywhere that God never consults your past to determine your future, and power is the ability to walk away from something you desire to protect something you love.
